Education
| All my early schooling was in Lufkin, Texas up through high school. After graduation from high school in 1965, I went to Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas until 1968 when I was accepted to The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. Dental school was 4 years including summers. During that time I worked part time at a job in Almeda Mall and later until graduation at St. Luke's Hospital. I graduated dental school in May 1972, took my state boards two weeks after that and married June 3rd (two weeks after boards). My current office was under construction when I received my license in August so I worked for a dentist on Belfort in his office until my office was completed in November of 1972. My first patient was November 13, 1972 . . . so the office has just celebrated our 35th year in practice on Strawberry in Pasadena. |
